Focus on identifying the risks and regulatory barriers to reusing municipal treated effluent for well completions in MSHF. However, consideration will also be given to defining the following sources:
- Treated municipal or domestic wastewater
- treated industrial or oilfield wastewater
- Hydraulic fracturing flowback or produced water
- Non-saline groundwater that is demonstrated to be economically and technologically impractical to use for drinking water or livestock watering pruposes
- Impacted non-saline groundwater
- Saline groundwater
- Untreated industrial wastewater
